Dr. Sabrena Miller is a licensed school psychologist and DORA registered psychotherapist. She currently practices as a school psychologist in Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) at both an elementary school and on the district’s cognitive assessment team. Sabrena is also the co-team lead for the district’s BrainSTEPS team. Previous to her time in BVSD, Sabrena enjoyed practicing school psychology as a member of the District Assessment Team in St. Vrain Valley School District and conducting private evaluations for the Attention Behavior and Learning Clinic at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

As a school psychologist, Sabrena enjoys multidisciplinary team collaboration, opportunities to connect and form relationships with families, trust building and growth celebration with students, and conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations. Additionally, Sabrena has the continuing pleasure of consulting with the gifted and talented department in the schools she serves. Together, Sabrena and the teams she collaborates with have identified students who are neurodiverse, gifted, as well as students who are twice exceptional. Those moments are full of celebration, as often students have been misunderstood and evaluation results highlight their strengths and areas for growth.
